The purposes for which the Edwards County Fair Association is organized are:
To promote and preserve the sport of rodeo and the cultural heritage and history of the cattle, sheep and goat industries as they have developed in the Rocksprings area
To provide charitable services to the town of Rocksprings, Texas and the rural areas in the vicinity of Rocksprings, Texas
To take such actions, including the sponsoring of rodeos, dances and other events for the purposes of raising funds, as reasonably connected to the goal of providing the services described above.
To promote economic development for the businesses of Edwards County
